Hope Forge not only carries a selection of tools, garden fixtures, and architectural hardware on-hand, but also works with you to create a special item you may have in mind. Whether it be a knife crafted from a railroad spike to honour a loved one with an interest in trains, or the mallet pictured here crafted from the wood of a beloved elm tree that had to be cut down, Hope Forge can turn your idea or sentiment into a cherished hand-crafted memento you can hold in your hand. All products are touchmarked with the "HOPE" logo, and are available in natural steel and black oiled finish. Custom finishes are also available; please call or email for pricing. New! Hope Forge Kitchen Pot Racks are entirely scratchbuilt by hand to your specifications. Shown is a custom design built to hang from an unusual light enclosure. Other hanging solutions can include wall-mount designs, circular or square hoop single-point hung configurations, rectangular hoops with two-point hanging configurations, and combination racks with incorporated room lighting. Please call or email for pricing; a rack can be designed to fit any kitchen, at any budget.

Hope Forge Fire Rakes are an exact duplicate of the rake used at the forge for tending the fire. They are ideal for tending the fire in your fireplace, or as a decorative wall ornament. Rakes are available in 3/8" and 1/2" thicknesses, priced at $15 and $20 respectively. Approx. 30" length.

Hope Forge Shepherd's Crooks are perfect for hanging 4" planters, small placards, or kerosene lamps inside or outside your home. It is recommended they be mounted with screws, not nails; and used to hang no more than 10 lbs. Hang with the hook pointing downwards. They are priced at $10 each; order 5 or more at $7 each.

Hope Forge Garden Hooks are ideal for hanging small feeders, placards, or lamps in your garden. Overall installed height is 4 ft. They can be hammered directly into the soil, or permanently set in concrete sonotubes (recommended). They are priced at $25 each.

Hope Forge Coathooks are always free of charge with your visit to the Forge (maximum five per person, per visit.) Shown are pencil-tip and spoon-tip variations. These hooks can be nailed or screwed directly into walls or doors, or riveted to decorative tackstrips in custom variations. Please call or email for pricing.

Hope Forge Material Tongs are used for gripping and holding hot steel billets and bars for forge work. Shown are 1" square stock tongs, 1/4" round stock tongs with locking clips, and 3/4" and 3/8" square stock ring tongs. An essential tool for the blacksmith, and a great conversation piece in the office for the engineer or factory supervisor; please call or email for pricing.

Other Tools: Shown left-to-right are other assorted hand-forged blacksmith's tools---the large spring fuller, which mounts in the anvil's hardie hole, is used for creating annular grooves in barstock. The hot-set chisel is held against a piece of hot steel, and struck with a hammer to split, or slice a groove in it. The ball-peen hammer is used for general flattening and peening work, and all Hope Forge hammers are completely neutral balanced; meaning the hammer and peen ends are exactly balanced with each other. This provides a perfect balance for the smith who uses both striking faces an equal amount of time. The hot-punch is another striking tool used for punching square holes in flat or bar stock. Last item shown is the small spring fuller. These items are not touchmarked, in natural finish, and offered in quantity pricing only; please call or email for ordering details.

All scrolled items are available with flat-tip or pencil-tip scrolls; if you have a preference, please specify when placing your order. A small quantity of both styles are usually on-hand.
